So much has happened in the month of December, and although it’s the busiest of times and the Silly Season is in full swing, it’s my favourite time of year!
From a business point of view, hair appointments for Christmas Parties, Graduations, and Dance Concerts kept me busy.
December marked a few milestones for Pretty Little Braids:
- The website went LIVE, something I’ve been working towards for what seems like forever.
- Beginner Braiding Workshops went on sale for 2017, which I have had a great response to and are very quickly selling out.
- PLB Newsletter, you can now sign up to be the first to know what is coming in 2017.
I also got into the Christmas Spirit with Themed Hairstyles this month. Themed Styles are always well liked on my Social Media Pages.
A special thank you to Cute Girls Hairstyles and Modern Wedding who reposted our work to share with their social media followers.
If you missed them, here’s some:
On a personal note: School finished for the year, and the 8-week Summer Break began.
Grace received a pass with merit in her first Piano Recital.
She was very excited.
And my family’s annual Santa Photo of our children was a success, (no tears this year)!
I just love this time of year. I love how Christmas brings families together, with food and festivities, the gift of giving, and when Christmas has been and gone for another year, I love continuing the celebration through to New Years and going on to share the month of January holidaying with family and friends.
I battled the mad rush at the shops and am happy to say that I’ve finished my Christmas shopping. So, as I finish wrapping the last Christmas presents and start to prepare for our family festivities (including a yummy Roast for Christmas Day with a side of my home cooked Yorkshire Puddings), I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year. Stay safe, and I look forward to sharing all things great with you in 2017.
Shelley xx
Asking questions are genuinely fastidious thing if you are not understanding something completely, except this
piece of writing provides nice understanding yet.
